It’s that time of the month again. Crystal time!
In the beginning, I wasn’t sure about sharing my crystal collection. It was just something I did and didn’t really share beyond Instagram. If I encounter someone in real life who is into crystals, I’ll mention that I’m a collector. But I haven’t found many people who collect as intensely as I do.
Pink Amethyst Druzy Sphere
I got this baby from Mercari. From the looks of the seller’s page, I think they needed cash quickly because I got her for a steal. I enjoy the calmness of her druzy and the way the colors shift in a really satisfying way.
Pink Amethyst promotes emotional healing and stress reduction.
Pink Druzy Rainbow Amethyst Heart
The elusive Pink Rainbow Amethyst Heart.
I got this from liliumcrystals while she was at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. This is one that took me a while to find. Someone always beat me to the punch.
This heart lives near a space where I chose to honor my mom’s memory. I want only the best for her.
Rainbow Amethyst helps clear mental “fog” and encourages a balanced state of mind.
White Sphalerite Sphere
I bought this Sphalerite sphere because crystalrainbowstar said this mine was closed. I wanted to have a piece for a reasonable price before they became harder to find in this form.
The sugary druzy texture on this one is really calming to look at.
Sphalerite helps balance mental overstimulation and overcome intrusive thoughts.
Cobaltoan Calcite
This crystal is so yummy.
I got her from a jewelstopia live sale. This was the crystal everyone was gunning for. I thank my Nighthawk router for blessing me with a fast internet connection so I could get my claim in.
Again, the druzy is calming, but it also looks like something that came straight out of a Lisa Frank factory.
Cobaltoan Calcite fosters deep emotional healing, compassion, and inner child healing.
Large Composite Mineral Specimen – Quartz, Albite & Mica + Others
This is one of my ultimate favorite crystals. So much so that it was the crystal I took my 40th birthday picture with.
I claimed her silently during a live sale from risingspiritcrystals. Her lives are always a vibe. The quartz druzy on this crystal is placed so elegantly across the surface that it almost looks intentional.
Why Druzy Keeps Showing Up in My Collection
If you look closely at the crystals I tend to keep, druzy shows up a lot.
There’s something about that texture that I find calming. It catches light in a way that feels soft instead of flashy. Even when the colors are bright, the tiny crystal formations create a kind of quiet sparkle.
I didn’t set out to collect druzy pieces specifically. But once you start noticing patterns in your collection, you realize your eye has preferences.
Apparently, mine likes things that shimmer a little.
