10 Heart Shaped Crystals From My Collection

A quick note before we start

This post is for entertainment and personal interest only. I’m sharing my own experiences and observations as a collector. Nothing here is intended as medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice, and it’s not a substitute for professional care.

Why heart shapes, actually

There’s an episode of The Office where Pam makes what I’ve always considered a snarky comment about heart-shaped jewelry. She says women don’t buy themselves heart-shaped things. I remember watching that and thinking, well… I do.

I’ve always liked hearts. Not in a Valentine’s Day way. Just the shape itself.

For February, it felt right to share my heart-shaped crystals. People often associate heart carvings with love, compassion, and emotional themes, but for me, it’s more about form and familiarity. I’ve probably been reaching for these pieces more lately because I really miss my mom. That connection doesn’t feel symbolic so much as quiet and personal.

Here are some of my current heart-shaped collection and where each piece came from.

Fluorite Heart Crystal

I was drawn to this one for two reasons. The carving is especially well done, and the color distribution is uneven in a way I really like. @punkerpebbles is an OG Instagram seller I’ve followed for years. She has lots of cats, works with a wide range of materials, and sells through story and live sales.

Post-pandemic, I spent a lot of time hanging out in her lives. It was genuinely fun and low pressure. This fluorite heart lives in my purse. I reach for fluorite when I want a sense of mental clarity, or at least the reminder of it.

Rhodochrosite Heart

I’ve shared a clear Lemurian quartz tower from @crystalsbyday before, and this rhodochrosite heart came from the same seller. My eye is always open for rhodochrosite. I love the lace-like patterning and the bold pink tone.

This one feels substantial without being heavy. It’s the kind of piece that doesn’t need to be flashy to hold attention.

Druzy Agate Heart

I’ve made a few purchases from @mysticsummercrystals. She carries an impressive amount of pink amethyst in all kinds of forms and sells through Instagram lives, stories, and her website.

I reached out via DM about this piece and checked out through her site. The druzy texture gives it depth without feeling delicate. It’s a heart that still feels grounded.

Rainbow Amethyst Two-Tone Pink Druzy Heart

The first crystal my boyfriend ever bought me from a live sale came from @jayde_and_jewels. After that, I kept an eye on her page and eventually managed to snag this heart from her personal collection.

I’m a sucker for sugar druzy, and the two tones of pink sold me immediately. There’s also a flash on the front that catches light in a way that feels almost playful.

Teeny Pink Rose Quartz Heart

I don’t remember where this one came from, which feels fitting for how long it’s been around. It’s small, very gemmy, and softer looking than most hearts I’m drawn to.

I usually don’t like puffy hearts, but the rounded shape on this one lets the asterism show through more clearly. It’s subtle, but once you notice it, it’s hard to miss.

Garden Quartz Heart

I found @crystalrarityy through my boyfriend, who is really into phantom and inclusion quartz. He sends me her posts often.

I love how clear this heart is and keep hoping she brings in more garden quartz hearts. Aaren is a Canadian seller with very reasonable shipping. You can claim pieces through Instagram lives or her Etsy shop.

Bi-Color Rainbow Amethyst Heart

Any live sale from @liliumcrystals is intense in the best way. Sit near your router if you want a chance at claiming something.

This heart stood out because of its size and the bi-color zoning. There was a repair done, which was clearly disclosed before anyone claimed it. That transparency matters to me, and it didn’t take away from how striking the piece is.

Snowflake Obsidian Heart

I try to visit local crystal shops whenever I can, and Crystal Treasures is a standout in my area. They carry a wide range of materials in different shapes and sizes, which isn’t common locally. There’s also a lot of incense and metaphysical supplies, and a shop cat who is absolutely part of the experience.

I chose this snowflake obsidian heart because their larger palm-sized carvings are consistently well done. It feels solid and intentional.

Brown Ocean Jasper Druzy Heart and Red Jasper Heart

This one makes me a little sad. @crystalrainbowstar is no longer active on Instagram, but Ray and Loralei were instrumental in helping me discover many of the crystal sellers I still follow today.

Their prices were always fair, their selection was broad, and they custom-sized my bracelets for free because I have smaller wrists. They were genuinely kind people, and I hope they’re doing well wherever they landed.

Why these still matter to me

When my mom was first in the hospital, her roommate’s daughter gave her a piece of raw rose quartz. I told my mom it was considered a stone for love. When she heard that, she held it against her chest.

It stuck with me. This woman who trusted medicine and science without question still chose to hold onto something symbolic, something comforting, even if just for a moment.

Aside from their beauty, I think that’s why I enjoy my collection. Not because I expect crystals to fix anything, but because they hold memory, intention, and presence in a way that feels quietly human. If you like crystals, check out my previous post about my 7 Favorite Crystals.
